I am perplexed at the people who are touting that there is going to be a layoff on May 28 and it’s going to be massive. You all really need to stop. There’s always layoffs in departments that are under performing or where there is duplicative work being done, but there has not been a notification to leadership that there is going to be mass layoffs on May 28 so please stop scaring everyone. In the meantime – all of the miserable people that just left to stir sh-t are going to get this 85 negative marks because you’re so focused on the drama and the negativity that you don’t know what else to do then to check this website daily. Do something better with your life.

@1tq I think it stands for Optum Global Advantage. Many of the offshore workers at Optum are part of that team / organization.
What is OGA? I am not familiar with that team.

I'm seeing too many peer managers on the RIF training. It is going to by a big one folks.
There are dozens of managers who know about the layoffs Thursday May 28th. Why would you say there are not happening. Just because they may not be happening in your area may not make them real. Or maybe you are on the list so your upline manager hasn't told you and they are letting you go and your employees.

I heard people got automated generic 1:1 email invites around 12-1 am late Wed night ie Thursday AM . That's your clue.
@qg yes, people have started getting strange invites for tomm. The party started a whole week early this month!
