Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

What were the terms of the Nov 20 layoff

I know 2 weeks per year of service, but:

  • Did you get any of 2027 STI?
  • Did you get prorated Stock Together or did all units vest?

@OP I was laid off in November 2025 after 8 years and I was laid out $10,000 in stock together. It was great because I wasn’t expecting it.

You get a down vote for asking a stupid question, especially where the answer are clearly noted in the separation papers.

@fn no one has received 2027 STI because 2027 hasn't happened yet. Those involved in November RIF who were not off payroll until February received a PRORATED 2026 STI.

So done folks received2027 STI even though they got RIF'd in Nov 25 (and last day in Dec 25) of 2025? Am I reading this correctly?

Off payroll 1/23/26
100% payout of 2025 STI
prorated payout of 2026 STI
all RSUs vesting in 2026 fully paid out
2027 RSUs fully vested and paid out in VZ stock

I was off payroll on Feb 20 but I haven’t received any RSUs. Did anyone else receive your RSUs?

Nobody got a 2027 bonus, the Nov. 20th layoffs wrapped up in February. Those people got a prorated 2026 Bonus.

All of us got a full 2025 bonus if we were still on Payroll December 1st, 2025.

The Stock Together program matured all 3 accounts in full at the same day and time, which was the Monday following final day of us being on Payroll. So in December it was the 22nd, for January it was the 19th, and February was the 23rd.

BTW, file for unemployment ASAP, let the state figure out if you qualify. Verizon pays a hefty amount in Unemployment Insurance taxes because of the frequent and sizable layoffs - so make use of their money.
The severance isn't payed out as a "term payout", even though it's based on a weekly earnings calculation. It's a lump sum and so far it seems every state has considered it non-consequential when determining eligibility, for those of whom I kept in touch with as we all went through the process. I made the mistake of using "Ask HR" and was told that I would qualify until (X) weeks after since I was being paid out "weekly lay for years of service, times 2" (which equals X). Turned out it was full of sh-t and I'm out months of qualified unemployment payment.

As a Nov 20 layofee, they definitely paid out the 2027 STI. My award was basically doubled.
