Sometimes things aren’t the same when your bestie leaves. It is in-fact confusing to be a girl. let’s have some compassion and hold space for leadership during these unprecedented times

Yup she was replaced by two dud(e)s. It's been chaos since then.
Truth. Not sure about the female culture stuff. But it’s a fact that there was a different culture, sense of commitment, belief in the mission kinda vibe under Kathy’s leadership. Ever since she left…it’s been hunger games.
Nothing says anti- woman like 100% RTO and no flexibility with HR reports micromanaging a55es in seats
@mw hmm, strong claim. I must have missed the part where daughters saw the office a few times, and completely replaced the male workforce at Fido? That’s a pretty dramatic reaction to a child visiting an office. I guess nothing says “anti-men” like letting little girls see what a workplace looks like…
She took over for Carney? She was brash with colorful language at times though she was way over the top promoting bring your daughter to work day, kinda rooted against men in general imo.
@e1 so much this! I was fine taking a smaller salary when the benefits and culture were great. Friends made more money but were less happy. Now we get less money AND our culture stinks? Benefits have slowly been eroding too. It's no longer a good deal.
Agreed! It seems the culture under Kathy Murphy was more caring and inspiring to be a part of Fidelity. Value was placed on the associates which in turn created a culture in which the associate was more invested in the success of the company. Fidelity now is purely numbers driven with little value placed on the associates which in turn is eroding what was such a positive culture into associates really not caring about the overall success of the firm and offering zero loyalty. What you give is what you get- and it's a shame that the culture has changed to a point in which there is this much disgruntlement and many looking for the exits. It's no secret that Fidelity is low on the salary scale and many accepted that to be part of a great work culture but if the culture is gone and Fidelity still wants to be the cheapest then the quality of associates will continue to decline. I personally cannot imagine wanting to speak with an "advisor" that looks like they just graduated.
@OP I took the last vbo. When I heard Kathy was leaving I thought that would be the beginning of the end. She was a great leader and someone to look up to. Not many around like that now
i’m dying at the gen z language i never see that at this boomer company
Me too honestly. Her and bill Ackerman. HR went to sh-t after he left.
