I saw today that Vena is now asking people to contact their elected government representatives and ask them to approve/support his buyout of NS. This guy is so desperate for this to happen it is sickening.

@OP its why Vena has failed to ever make it beyond base camp. Hes a hot air balloon that is all talk and no action. The only thing he has done is cut costs and fired people who do the work while he collects a crazy comp package. Even if the merger gets passed he will pass go and collect 200 for you Monopoly board game fans. The UP SP merger was a joke. An execution disaster for 2-3 years post merger and this would be much worse. They cant answer the code red in revised filing cuz of incompetent lesdership who is trying to sell the public fools gold...its to grease UP pockets and to inflate Venas ego...its his best shot at finally getting past base camp without physically doing it. Vena will be long gone and cashed out before the cleanup in aisle 1 happens. He knows it too. Its about the only thing he knows....
Has anyone else noticed the large amount of youtube videos that narrate how psr has destroyed American railroad morale, and basically taken away the aspirations of prospective hires ? The word on the street is Stay. Away. It’s a sad and embarrassing thing indeed.
Its all fun and games for numbers and bonuses till the feds got a look. They were at least polite in rescheduling instead of a direct no. But when you install a one trick pony in the hot seat shareholders should've expected it.
I truly believe that he realized that Lance already cut everything that could be cut and left nothing for him. He's so desperate because He knows very well that shareholders will oust him the second this merger does not happen. the return on investment has been pretty flat ever since he took over Versus what shareholders saw Lance do back in 2020 with the share price skyrocketing. But then again Lance
sxxx himself in the foot for cutting too deep. The second his stock dropped for more than half a year he was out ASAP.
I've written 6 letters so far urging legislators not to support it.
