Exactly correct, there is no AI, this is just an excuse to do what Cisco has done every year since Chuck became CEO. Post good revenue and cut 5% of the work force to get a pop in the stock. Company of course buys back stock ahead of time as do Executives to continue to line their greedy pockets. Worked for that POS company for 15 years before my number came up.
very very few true AI automation, maybe in some product, or maybe in how people use it themselves for certain research or shortcut. this is basically cutting people to use the money for future AI investment
