Today marks Day 70 (Oct 21) with zero communication from our CEO.
Is he still alive? Do we need to call in search and rescue?
Today marks Day 70 (Oct 21) with zero communication from our CEO.
Is he still alive? Do we need to call in search and rescue?
He did! 130 days of strenuous work to tell everyone to stay home and wait for an email to let us know if we have a job.
What a wonderful human being!
Go team!
Has he resurfaced?
The less he says the more he saves the company in lawsuits.
I'm an ex-Citrite (left last summer when the gettin' was good) and now work at an integrator/consulting company. I talked to one of my counterparts in our EUC group who works with several channel partners and a lot of them are nervous about Citrix because there's been so little communication with much of the channel about what's going on and what the direction is. Many of them said the lack of communication at the time when the channel is doing annual sales kickoffs is troubling (In contrast, VMware has been actively engaging with the EUC team throughout their acquisition and was part of our sales kickoff). I can't imagine what it'd be like to still be at Citrix and not have any communications in an entire quarter about the company's (or your) future.
My guess is that The Angel of Death (Tommy-Boy) tried communicating to Citrix employees a couple of times after he was announced CEO and ended up with his foot in his mouth (and other select orifices) regarding RTO, layoffs, and a number of other topics. I’ll bet my right nut that Tony the Gnome made a beeline to Tommy-Boy’s office, snatched away Tommy-Boy’s keyboard and encouraged him to stay in his CEO office and model his CEO crown and scepter in front of his CEO mirror. That way, Tommy-Boy won’t rile up the masses for what everyone can agree is another round of firings in the near future. As someone else said - don’t buy a car…don’t buy a house….
It's been so long since we've heard from him, I can barely recall what was said. Something about RTO. I think maybe it was something along the lines of remote work being the wave of the future and being great. Yes, I think that was it--that everyone should be remote.
I think he's been busy hand-picking the many employees to be laid off (all the while laughing like Dr. Evil).
i really hope someone has the guts to call him out in person on his poor comms during the next all hands.
That's a public Web page created a while ago. The fact is that the employees as a whole haven't heard from him since October. NOT ONE WORD.
What are you people talking about?

maybe he choked while eating his caviar ? or died from looking at his face in the mirror the next morning...
One can dream…
Has Krause been fired??
Our Transparent leader Tom is even not part of the ELT on "Meet our Leaders" on Cloud Central anymore? https://tibco-connect.tibco.com/cloud-central/inside-csg/leaders
Maybe he is part of the reduction as well :-)
On his way to India to check on the recruitment drive.
He is on the Borg ship being reprogrammed.
Tom's year-end message was both heartwarming and uplifting.
Oops, sorry... wrong CEO. Tom didn't say a word. I was thinking of a different transparent CEO.
Word is Vivek Ranadive gave up running the Sacramento Kings because he's so obviously bad at it and getting back into the business now that he's gotten over his ex fleecing him for half of TIBCO.
Do not. I repeat: Do not call in a search and rescue. I am enjoying not hearing from him, so don't ruin it!
I think it's strange too. I couldn't find his bio on Cloud Central either. All other ELT members are there but not him. I could be wrong though, but his silence is certainly odd.
