What are the terms on severance?

Noncompete? No talking to media? Agree not to sue?

You waive your right to sue them BUT the government can sue them on your behalf for military discrimination… DOL found them guilty on 3 charges… just waiting on DOJ to follow through.

@ab Not entirely correct. Once you sign your severance you are free to hire anywhere you like. There aren't any non-competes. I know, i was RIF'd and took a job at CVS 3 days later.

@c2 You waive your right to sue when you sign your employment agreement. You agree to a mediator who is appointed by the company.

Severance is a set amount based on your years of service. Your manager needs to coordinate the box to return your equipment. No compete is for six months or so.
