Does anyone know if there are specific employment attorneys working with Edward Jones associates? I am being set up to be let go, probably so they won’t have to pay out the large amount of severance I would be due.

Do not quit whatever you do and ensure you date and document everything. I agree with comments above, if you can get several people aligned on data, facts and information that is relevant. Ask them to verify what they hear and see.
@fq yeah, for what it is worth I'm sure there are other websites on the internet like reddit where you can find others in a similar situation and see what they did. The fact that this page is getting as much traffic as it does now and virtually didn't exist 2 yrs ago, speaks volumes of the type of people we have in charge. When was the last time a private company bragged about record profits while taking a hatchet to their day to day labor force? Either we are lying about the numbers, or PP are trying to show the wall street bros that she can be just like them (and plans to join them)
@fn not too many attorneys will do this. They are also a business and they aren't that interested in what ifs.
The time to talk with an attorney is now. Find one that does a free initial consultation and they can give you ideas about your situation and how best to handle it. People usually wait until after they' have lost their job, but if you are having "a feeling" that something is off, trust your instincts.

@b2 good advice. Also, OP, that’s tough. Sorry you’re going thru that unknown. If others in the area/firm would support your point of view then it would be good to get their feedback documented too. Maybe a short email or something. Best to ya!
Not that I know of. If I were you I would start making copies of all your reviews and any other paper trail items you can use that show you as a solid worker and anything the leader has you need to do to avoid a PIP. Have as much paperwork as possible and send it to a personal email. No client stuff (obviously). If they can you, you want to have almost like a dead mans switch as leverage if you feel like legally they are doing something they shouldn't be and you aren't going to go quietly. Also, get the resume updated (you probably knew this though) and start mentally preparing for the fact that this place is done with you and will do whatever possible to get rid of you. Good luck.
