Over 2k volunteers and paid volunteers to support a FOR profit event! How much value could have created for not for profit local charities. The volunteers alone. This place is run like sh-t! No real core values, wasted opportunities. AI is coming for ops, dev, project and product manage roles and India. What a mess Tock Tock! Btw the most unattractive C suite and non- executive presence group I have ever seen. No polish. Not to mention the quiet layoffs. So inclusive.
Funny how there’s always “no budget” when it comes to employees — limited raises, weak bonuses, rising healthcare costs, no travel approvals, and barely any team events. Yet somehow the company has endless money available to sponsor a major golf tournament.
As far as I know, regular teammates don’t even get access to Truist Championship tickets. Those perks seem reserved for executives and senior leadership. That says a lot about the culture.
Management constantly pushes the message that everyone needs to tighten spending and do more with less, while leadership continues funding massive image and branding projects. The disconnect is impossible to ignore.
If you’re considering working here, just understand that employee appreciation often feels more like a talking point than a priority. This company treats it's employees like absolute garbage.

Total waste of money. Looks like they ran this tournament into the ground, like the company. Soon, this tournament will only get Sergio.
And yet seems to be a very thin showing. Not many in attendance, no blimp, no roars or claps, what a poor showing …. For how much?

Probably just me, but I’m struggling to get excited about an eight-year, $200M+ golf tournament sponsorship — not to mention the other millions in T&E expenditures — while teammates can’t seem to get a meaningful cost-of-living adjustment.
It’s reassuring to know there’s no money for people, but somehow plenty available for hospitality suites, executive travel, brand exposure, and making sure the company logo looks great next to a fairway.
Maybe the next engagement survey can ask whether teammates feel more financially secure now that the golf sponsorship is fully funded. I understand brand investment matters. But it’s a little ironic to celebrate high-profile sponsorships and premium client experiences while asking employees to absorb rising costs with minimal relief. At some point, “investing in the brand” should probably include investing in the people expected to represent it every day.
