What if on a PTO today? Few in my agile team are on PTO today. What happens if they are on the list?

in 2024 had one associate out on vacation out of the country. The day returned 2 weeks later had to have the call. You can't reach out, but if they contact you and ask you, you can tell them.
They will call and inform them that they are fired. Happened with few others.
