That's upsetting. You know finance just see us as numbers on a spreadsheet. What's even insulting is her job is going to be outsourced to India.

One of the nicest people at MDT was let go today. I can’t say where because it was a very specific role. She was awesome at her job and we will be worse off without her. Anyone trying to spin all of this chaos as “trimming the fat” and only getting rid of people who deserve it is a ghoul. I will miss working with her. She did more good for this company everyday than any executive.

RIF has hit the Global Operations and Supply Chain function
Cuts in customer facing roles confirmed. Here in Minnesota and east coast. Part of who is left from what MDT didn’t offshore from Sullivan lake in 2017.

Announcement to be made tomorrow! 100% it will be timed with the market. Major restructuring and consolidation announcements. A lot of new business will go to India and Malaysia direction. Huge cuts globally. I know Ireland parkmore will see a scale back and a move towards R&D. Hugo will be making a move from its current home back to the US BU.

Fortunately our group just had several employees leave MDT so we're already thinned out quite a bit, but who knows.

Just seen a Memo! Management to review departments. Like last time RIF to be offered to all. Each person will have to submit a form of interest. All applications will be reviewed by the management review Team as before. They looking for low hanging fruit. Get rid of the underperformers and long term people, not contributing much.
From what i read this is going to be a global announcement, affecting multiple BU's.
