Like many folks at Fidelity, most people don’t have a separate QCI meetings but those managers randomly schedules a QCI this Thursday can only mean one thing. RIF. The RIFs have been verified by multiple sources who have access to high level management. I got the random QCI invite this morning which coincides with managers getting the list of people on the list. Stay strong. Nothing we can do but move forward and hope Abby can catch up to the 3 trillionaires in the world while destroying countless families who have elevated her there.

@as I don’t know what you do but I don’t appreciate the cavalier response. In case you haven’t noticed, there are NO jobs out there for us developers!! I’m so angry with your comment. Maybe I’m not rich like you but I’m terrified of how I will support my family if I lose my job. And I too did get an invite even though I had my QCI last week. So please be compassionate and sensitive to those who are stressed and losing sleep over Thursday. I’m pretty sure Abby isn’t losing any sleep destroying our lives but the least I expect is for my colleagues to be sensitive.
Deadline for mgr to do QCI is this Friday so maybe it’s really about QCI
@OP I’m in MMK and I was told if it’s ok to cancel my PTO this week. So not right. When I asked why she said there’s a company announcement. But that she will give me more information when she and I meet on Thursday morning.
@OP just opened up the invite and I got a meeting from my manager who I haven’t spoken to since YE bonus. What is going on???
I doubt that is the RIF meeting. It will show up Thursday morning for a 15 minute meeting early in the morning, same day.
@ah I had 3 EP in the past 7 years. Most recently had an EP but my 1:1 canceled and replaced with a QCI for Thursday. What is happening???

@ae after Ned left nothing has been the same. Downward spiral. Supposedly there’s a new book coming out after the Johnson’s and how Abby tried to sabotage her father and take the company from him. Real life sick Succession show. Goes to show how she is even a Johnson. This whole thing stinks of her having mental issues and just following the playbooks from the other heartless villains from wall st like Jamie daimon and Goldman.

@a7 this is absolutely ridiculous. HR wouldn't direct people to schedule a meeting under false pretences.

That’s really messed up. They should not be scheduling these in advance and pretending they’re performance conversations. They should be scheduling a quick call the morning of. Right before. Really unprofessional if this is what they’re doing.
@ab sorry to hear that. But I hear Dev Ops is ok for now. Chin up. Fidelity has so lost its way after Mr. Johnson left. Abby is literally out to destroy lives before she is done with hers. Such a disgusting and disappointing succession. Her father would be so disgusted with her.

@a5 I hear ya. I’m in paines group. They go around taking credit for work actually done by the product owners and squads. Appears to be working because because holy moly he and fiorio’s groups have exploding. And yet product nothing other than tell a good story to vadim. Shame invasion. Shame on Abby.

Many decades with Fidelity…there is life after Fidelity! Abby is not her father! Some silver spoons don’t share the every day living expenses we all share. That said…prepare, you will land on your feet and if you are thoughtful about it you will be better off financially and emotionally.
@OP my manager and I have been good friends for past 15 years and he texted me on my personal phone that HR was asked to disguise a meeting as QCI to be used as a means to notify employees that they have been RIFed. I’m grateful for my friend giving me the heads up. Sadly he called HR to try to intervene but manager have zero influence. Almost seems like AIs. Making decisions.

@OP I don’t understand what is happening. How can Fidelity survive by intentionally become so toxic. Full RTO and yet none of the coffee badgers are penalized and yet the people who follow the rules are scared sh*tless wondering how to pay mortgage and upcoming full RTO gas bills. There are so many redundancies are the company. I’m ‘product delivery’ in Fiorio group and yet there are hundreds of same roles in Paines’ area. My question is what does any of these people do because I honestly don’t know what’s happening my role is other than attend tons of meetings. I used to be GC and loved my job. Now it’s all about hanging on to other people tailcoat and hope people like Fiorio and Paine paint a good picture of why they’re critical even though they don’t own ANY products nor do they contribute in ANY way to a product launches success.

Damn. I got a random QCI meeting as well for Thursday. I have never gotten a separate QCI meeting in the 12 years I’ve been hear and odd that it coincides with Thursday.
