Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

Congrats! Most Active Page on Layoff.

I like to check in from time to time and see all the juicy gossip around this disgraceful company you call TransUnion. How's it feel to sit on pins and needles waiting for those layoffs? My currently doesn't have one entry on this site. As a past employee of TransUnion who put in 20 plus years of service to be axed by lay off which NO notice, not two week notice just a phone call between a director and HR that my position wasn't available but I worked from 11 pm to 2 am the night/morning previously when was my part no longer required was my only question? The company run by CC and his Neustar buddies.

Just as a reminder for those who work at TU. Quantity over quality when you work. Take your FTO as many as you can, at least 10 weeks. Take those long breaks Those two days in the office do the minimum, the 3 days WFH make sure you run errands, hit those gyms, quality time with families because CC and his teams don't care about you. You are just a W2 at the end of the day. Work those 8 hours and go home get off teams turn phone off. Unless you on-call then make sure you have phone only turned on during that time otherwise - manage your time, NOT TU TIME.

TransUnion is a nasty organization. Reading all these layoffs on LinkedIn and people paying gratitude for working there? Are you serious? You were laid off unexpecting. You went from having a job to a contractor with a exit. Someone took your job or those jobs were not needed any longer and I know you all probably worked the night prior to the layoff. HR and CC are corrupt. Those going through this transition, may you find somewhere that makes you happy. I actually feel bad for all those working for TransUnion, putting in those hours and high demand of work be completed. Just know you are all on borrowed time. When they are done with you its quick.

You are probably worth more somewhere else and you are just comfortable in the role. Almost 4 years later I am entering a role that will pay me to live comfortable. A lot of stress of the unknown. If I didn't get laid off by CC I would still be working there and not knowing my worth. Not only did TU pay me a great severance and bonus I was able to land on my feet quickly and pocket that $$$. I worked a lower paying job in the healthcare industry which by the way will never be run by AI. My skills got better and now I am entering another health industry that is paying me more then ever expected.

Sc-mbag CC.

Yet you can't seem to stay away. Like that high school girlfriend you think about at night whilst watching your wife walk around is sweat pants

@OP Since my layoff two years ago and my projects that involved AI today. Manager and directors will be replaced by player coach. New model bigger companies follow and I thought of TU when I started there. Everyone had offices and then they moved to open office concept, basically stealing Google life. Right now I am not too concerned about my position but my current leadership liked the idea of cost cutting. Management, HR and customer support. My new industry we already don't have enough people to do the work.
