for one thing you HAVE to pay teh party fo the union dues that services the contract (which is most of it ). Also- notice a ton of union workers getting laid off here? I don't think there have been any in recent memory

It’s not the union members fault, the union leaders are ra-ing the members and living like fat cats with the dues collected. Wake up, what are the leaders doing for you to get 2% raises?
Jealous salary workers on the chopping block with no union to fight for them. Very sad.
I will say early 2000’s the union did sc--w future hires and have been sc--wing their members for years. That being said, people hired after 2008 knew what they were getting into.
