Man, it seems like a lot of current Dell employees are submitting their resumes for my job opening. Maybe Dell will get a lot more people quitting and may see a mass exodus.I wonder what they will say why they are leaving.

@ds ... and everybody OVER 50 has already been let go.
Honestly, IMPO you are d-mb if you aren't actively looking for a new job 24/7... I think most people are always looking for a new job, and applying, but are ultimately content at Dell at the same time. However, if a job they applied to offers them a position with more money (or whatever they are wanting) then yeah, most will jump ship.
The people who end up in unemployment limbo are the ones who think they are "safe" from layoffs and never update their linkedin/resume and aren't activ3ely applying or looking for new roles.
You think Dell gaf if people quit? That's the IDEAL scenario dude! They don't have to pay out severance or unemployment and it's saving them loads of money!
So is everybody else!
My resignation is cued up to send at 0800. I don’t expect my manager will read it for a week or so, but not my problem.
On to the next adventure.
Yeah; ok; sure…
@ds good luck. Not much out there...take it from one who is trying hard.
I am pretty sure everyone under 50 is looking/hoping to exit dell for another job.
The mass exodus is already happening. My group in ISG support has already seen close to 30% leave voluntarily in the last 6 months. This is on top of the 20% WFR they slapped us with last year.
@OP There are approximately 96,000 employees looking for work outside of Dell.
@c6 this is a lot more than normal from my other jobs posted. I guess we will see
There are 100k employees. Statistically, any company on average has 15-27% of their staff actively looking for new roles at any given time. it is also peak season for those looking for new roles.
Dell? Nothing. More money for them. Greedy ba----ds.
