No layoffs

we had a team meeting on Friday and questions were being raised about layoffs and reorgs and such and she did say that we will find out next week. Something is definitely happening, not just sure to what extent. I did ask a personal question to my manager on Friday, she read it, but never responded...so I'm a bit worried now.
@ah Interesting. So, managers whose teams are affected have already been notified you think? I’m a manager, not in any of the areas or roles that have been consistently mentioned. I haven’t been told anything. I do have a low performer on my team. I figured they may be including all those associates in a rif. Maybe not? Maybe I haven’t heard anything because I’m getting let go?
As a manager I was told that Tuesday I will receive the list of my directs that are impacted and “training” from HR on delivering the script. Thursday we will be delivering the “message” to impacted associates

I’m sorry I don’t see it.
There will be some layoffs but dead weight superfluous ppl that needed others to pick up their slack. Good riddance I work hard enough I don’t need to hold hands of lightweights.
It su-ks losing a job but tge ppl they’re cutting knew they were hacks and over paid do nothings. Your gravy train is over. Leave the real jobs for the adults you can go back your selfies and planning parties at home. Just without the six figures.
