I'm actually looking forward to the first decent weekend in forever, and to never touching healthcare again. Got an interview next week for something completely different at a small company. Wish me luck. And do yourselves a favor, find something else.

@OP Good Luck with the interview. Let us know how the interview went. What type of AI questions did they ask, if any? Thanks!
Boy when I am gone i hope I can find that little gnome with a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow too. so exciting. this site is lame now
@fe Then why are you at Optum? Comp drags behind all MN mastheads 15-20%. I cannot imagine how bad it is if you office at our NYC, LA, or DC campuses. Maybe that is why beyond layoffs we have such insane turnover. People get their 0.5-2% raise and realize the upside is a myth and bail.
@d4 Feeling appreciated? So millennial of you. I opt for feeling respected and paid well.
@df the real question is…are you? Lame.
@d4 40%!!! Wow
"but I legit feel appreciated"
Legit? Are you 12?
@op. I left months ago knowing at some point the layoffs where coming. An opportunity came, I got the exact same job, increased pay, benefits and a company that actually likes their employees. Always keep an eye open for those opportunities. My mental health is 10 fold better. Reading these post only reinforces my decision to leave.
I left willingly about 6 weeks ago. 40% pay increase. Work is very challenging but I legit feel appreciated. No more training my offshore replacements
@a8 stay bitter
@a6 Same here landed a new job 3 months later with higher pay. No more Sunday UHC anxiety.
@a8 You’re a sick person.
@OP Good luck ❤️
Just what I needed advice from an anonymous stranger that knows nothing about my needs or wants.
Good luck! I was let go in January after 15.5 years doing a job I loved, but I landed a job only a month later doing the same with better pay and benefits. And a supportive team!
Good luck and thank you for instilling hope. Hope to one day do the same.
