So many of my colleagues coffee-badge or come in less than four days per week RTO. Is this a psychological experiment to see what happens when one groups does not hat they’re told is expected of them and the other does the bare minimum?

It just depends on your manager and how “by the book” they are. You will be good until you’re not. Then comes the coaching memo and so on. Good luck! These companies are all doing the same with RTO and they have employees by the b-lls now unfortunately.
Probably not. How would Schwab fight a lawsuit that you were singled out when it is not enforced across the board?
I like being in the office, water cooler talk speak with the youths
When RTO5 is implemented later this year they will possibly enforce. It is a hard process for HR as they have to ensure fairness, ADA compliance and coordination with sick days, business travel, and other activities. It isn’t as simple as pulling the CRE report.
Since the change, a manager on my team has not had a single week where they did all 4 required days and often average 1-2 days in the office. They also really don’t do anything most the time work wise and I don’t understand how they survived the huge Halloween layoff a few years back. We seem to hire too many lazy people, and keep the elderly boomers that are tech inefficient unable to operate basic computer tasks until their last breaths
Depends on the org. Some orgs don’t care, others are to the letter
They will likely be fast-tracked for promotions and receive the largest compensation increases. After all, they've proven themselves smarter than you and your bootlick brigade.
