Arriving 1 1/2 hours early before everyone buys me the commute time home to log in for the afternoon.

People should just mind their business, the company already has their metrics, there’s no need for people to act like the office presence police. Direct managers already know and have access to reports. I work w global teams and have to start at times at 5 am or stay up until 3 am. These people don’t know sht, that’s why they should mind their business. I’ve had people who don’t even work with me try to be all up in my case. I’m not going to stay until 5 pm if I started working at 5 am at home.

I go three half days a week. I see others only staying for an hour or even badging in and walking right back out (we don’t have to badge out at my site anymore). I also know others stay 8 hours 3 days a week. I just can’t do that anymore.

3 days a week for unlimited number of hours without dinner or a cab ride home with further wfh till around midnight.
number of days in the office is not averaged out in a month, but from my experience it's admissible to miss 1 day per month w/o getting a non-compliance email from the head of the department.

Different teams have different requirements so just do what you're required to do. There's a report that flags your name when you don't meet your minimum in-office days. It's just too risky with all the layoffs, don't give them any ammo to put you on a PIP. If you get fired you don't get any severance.

@bc

I'm a manager and you are not notified. You have to manually go into the sharepoint and get the report for your team.

depends on your HR requirements but if your marked as hybrid and told 3 day required in office. Your manager is automatically notified when your badge isn't scanned, can confirm from experience I tested it myself and was caught 2 weeks later so idk if there's a time frame for notice.

3 days a week for a few hours. Only because some je-k-off ratted me out to my boss that I was coming in and apparently (in their eyes) not staying long enough. Je-k-wad has no clue I have been up since 0400 EST to work with colleagues in EMEA. Said je-k is in 4-5 times a week and stays for 10 hours because his marriage is falling apart and he has no outlet besides water-cooler talk all day. And if he has a conference call / zoom meeting, he yells at the top of his lungs so nobody within 30 feet of him can hear themself think. If the RIF gods are listening, please shine your light on him soon.

I come in early (8AM) and leave at 1. Used to be 2 but I’m quiet quitting with 3 days in the office.
