@dh Yes, the firm is definitely moving away from flexibility from what I gathered in this town hall.

More in-office time, more layoffs, more "efficiency".

The “collaboration will be even more important for the next 90 days” comment makes it feel like a full in‑office mandate is coming. I wouldn’t get my hopes up that employee concerns about increased commuting costs will actually be taken into account.

I would like to ask how we are to "collaborate" with the Accenture people if they are not in-office, since being in the office is so important. I mean, is in-person collaboration important or not? Does having locations scattered throughout the world like Colorado Springs and London harm collaboration? It is obvious that being in-office has everything to do with control and justifying an overpriced building on the water, and less to do with anything required to get work done.

I would also like to ask how they intend on addressing the toxic culture around here, but given they created this culture and despite it being around for a couple of years now and getting even worse, they have done nothing. It is probably designed to make people leave on their own.

@OP lol my boss has let me WFH a lot over the years. Just say you got an injury and can’t come in. It works and if your boss is nice then it’s easssy. Most of our team haven’t been in much.

If they can't pay bonuses more, they should at least let us work from home more!
