@OP Only those who got Cisco Certs got a raise from what I understand within CX as a BU! Half of these employees have these as a nice to have and yet don’t even know how to apply it to their clients conversations! Some just do a sh---y job and yet still got a raise because of a cert! Nice job Directors!

Raises here do not make much of a difference when you can get an external offer of 25% or more at the minimum

@fv but hold on, didn't half of them get raises in November? That's the story we were told. I'm not saying that makes it great, but it seems like the raise coverage is at least a little better than this makes it sound.
Leader here. for a group of 15 the budget available allow us to give raises to 25-30% of the team, meaning 4 or 5 people depending on the grades. That is an average of 4 or 5% raise for those who were prioritized this cycle.
No raises are not given to everyone every year. The budgets tend to support giving raises to 50% but junior people get more often and senior much less. Senior compensation tends to shift toward RSUs.
It would not be unusual to go 5 years without a raise at Cisco if you are senior.
More the raises, sooner to chopping block. This is Cisco, no raises permitted for normal people.

I did not get any. Neither salary bump nor any RSU's. This is coming after delivering main feature in last release. This is shows Cisco culture. No one gives a damn ! Time to start looking outside.
