As long as you fail with your manager you are safe at GA! I have seen countless managers fail at everything bc they touch and still get promoted! But be careful! If you have an id--t for a manager and outperform your manger your head will be on the chopping block! Failure isn’t always a bad thing especially at GA! Where being a top performer can get you fired if you ever outperform your manager !
