Pay is below market, raises don't exist, and talent gets zero recognition. With all the layoffs, individual contributors are doing management work on top of their own jobs. Meanwhile everything keeps getting offshored. There's literally nothing positive about this place.

@em I highly doubt your manager knows you leave like that mid day. Your time will come.
@em same here. I think we are the lucky ones though because I see so many stories of micro-managers in here. I just think I’ll stay in the “smoke” and not jump into the fire.
I’ll be called a corporate shill for saying this on this website, but I can think of several positives about working here.
My pay is definitely above market, I get 6 weeks of pto, and have a remote job with a manager who doesn’t babysit me. I often leave in the middle of the day to run errands, and nobody cares because I get my work done. Yeah the raises su-k and so does the 401k cut, but compared to the horror stories I hear about other companies, this feels like a dream job.
Then why has my insurance increased after cutting costs?
