How else to explain excessively unrealistic expectations except that they are trying to get as many of us as possible to quit. I am drained.

That’s not how unemployment works. Unemployment is a government insurance benefit. The funds are already in the government. The conditions to be approved to receive unemployment benefits are another story. Yes, if you quit you don’t qualify, but it has nothing to do with Citrix/CSG/Tibco’s bottom line.
Perhaps you meant, severance.
Unrealistic expectations? You’ve seen expectations? Goals? Anything remotely resembling things to do for the company? I have little or nothing to do since the beginning of November. Not for lack of trying, by the way. It makes no sense to hear that there are expectations. Please say where. Maybe I’ll request to move to that department. What a fu----g joke.
Hang in there for a few more weeks, honestly.
Expectations are always relative to the perspective of the leaders who set them. Citrix ELT had a relatively low bar - continue reporting fraudulent financials for as long as possible.
In contrast, CSG's revenue and profitability goals must be tied to the reality of the business. Once the goals are more aligned with the declining customer base, then the key objectives will become more realistic. Meanwhile, the inherited ELT goals are impossible.
