There is no layoffs occurring at Splunk right now. In fact, there is no Splunk.

People are leaving the Splunk BE because their retentions have run out and our internal processes at Cisco stifle real innovation.

When did it happen? Is it still happening? Do layoff notifications generally go out on Thursday?

Worst acquisition ever. Shows what a clueless bunch of id--ts the ELT are.

True or not, this has proven to be the worst acquisition by any Fortune 500 company in the last decade. Vastly, wildly overpaying for a logging company well past its growth phase and then systemically destroying it starting from day one.

Easiest job in tech right now - be Datadog's CEO. All you have to do is sit back and collect the refugee Splunk customers.

No one cares enough about Cisco to expose this in the press...if a bungle of this size was executed by Apple or Google, you'd never hear the end of it.
