Come on people you’re not toiling in the ore mines. You’re white color paper pushers. Be grateful.
Literally cannot. My role is always understaffed but you’re forced to get all the work done same day or you’ll hear about it. It’s always our fault. They think it’s normal. I’m talking about a group that is well known to have been like this for years. It feels like getting trafficked into a work camp. They see no problem and expect you to have no life.
its a top down , people with archaid ideas rule this place, with ideas stolen with younger gen and used by the dinosaurs
@OP It's easier said than done
Especially for those who are on visas, they have to continuously prove themselves and always seem like walking on egg shells.
Constant change and uncertainty in this company doesn't help plus current political climate isn't helping the cause as well.
I struggle with this. I used to never care, but I got laid off twice in 2 years. I am at my new job - but it is a 1 year probation. I am a few months away from beating probation and I tell myself I am capable and will get it done, but my mentality of being a bare min worker is clashing with me trying to get thru.. That being said, the second I'm off probation this is how I want to live life.
