Fitch has issued a No Action for Mutual of America as of 4/14. Still BBB w/negative outlook. just above junk bond status.

negative outflows, management turnover, shifting priorities, slow sales, digital transformation failures are being scrutinized by the credit bureaus.

@m3 ratings agencies are full of smoke. only impacts IAA & annuity buy out bizness. the importance of credit ratings have been surpassed by google reviews, bbb complaints, and # of attendees at hispanic heritage month webinars + completing the 75 pages of annual performance reviews

@m3 how much $ does the firm throw down the toilet at Fitch each year to have Fitch tell mutual of america and the world how much mutual of america su-cks ! stop paying the raters to ra-pe us, embarras-s us, and annually flog us.

So funny. Now someone thinks they know better than Fitch , which is considered as being one of the "Big Three credit rating agencies", along with Moody's and S&P ,Founded 1913; 113 years ago.

So many experts here it is a wonder they do not head up a company. LOL.

sounds like Fitch has shown restriaint. How much does Mutual of America pay the rating agencies to rate them ?

@OP Fitch is keeping mutual of america at BBB+ not BBB w/a negative outlook. so, no change, at least yet by Fitch. the infusion of $400m in cash from the sale for 320 park and the Florida property help stave out a further revision downward---------------for now
