Everytime I put the news on another union settles a contract with a 15% raise in there pension and don’t have to pay for there medical. How and why do we fold like a cheap suit every time. That union was seiu 32j building workers.plus $9000 pay raise.

@a1 This company made 178 billion last year it could afford 200 million for all employees to have medical insurance for life. Stop making excuses for the company they don’t give a cr-p about you.
And where does that money come from? The earnings of the company. Then when the P/E ratio goes to cr-p, the shareholders demand something be done, so then they eliminate payroll...ie....layoffs. Nothing is ever free. Same reason why a $7 hamburger now costs $15. Cost of meat, and everything including labor, went up so they had to raise the price to cover it. You can't afford to buy it now, so they go out of business....people lose their jobs....its a viscous cycle.
That being said, do I want more salary? Of course I do, in my case the gov't just pays more for the missiles.
