I haven't been here long, but I also don't intend to stay much longer. I just hope that I will be able to leave before I get cut. I was surprised by how toxic this place is. Has it always been like this, that is, when did it become so unbearably toxic?

The downhill adventure kick started with VL… the toxic work environment he hired/created in the SD office was disgusting then and still is…
"Well grass ain't green on the other side. Be happy you are employed whilst the tech industry self destruct. There are worse places to be."
This must be from a TINO sympathizer. It is no different from the following
“We keep you alive to serve this ship – row well and live” - quote from 1959 Ben-Hur movie.
When TINOs took over and it's been in a spiral since. Some dates of interest
2015 when OR managed by fear
2017 when RP fooled everyone with UI expertise to manage a DB business
2020 when HA and DS and the whole ELT politicized, instill mistrust, and finalized toxic culture to win everyone over
Just ask around, everyone knows what happened and still happening in their workplace. Can any of the current TINOs willing to have folks talk to people to know the truth to save their souls?
I joined in 2017 and loved it for the first year or two. Then KCC, HA, and the rest of the clown show came on board and things went down hill so fast I ended up leaving in 2021.

Racism? Hardly. Expecting to understand the support people is a given. I don’t care what nationality a support person is if I can understand them.
Vic Lund hired the wrong people and they made a dreadful reorg in 2019. It's been downhill ever since.
Wow, look at that - some overt old school racism! Another tradition you miss?
Its a sinking ship. Once upon a time when you called an American company for support, you spoke to someone with an American accent. That rarely happens anymore and this company is no different.
