Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Just ask your Manager.

If you are wanting the date that you are going to be laid-off.

Really simple.

Stack ranks were already submitted with your performance review. You’ll know that you are on the list the same day your boss knows.

Managers dont know. It is a normal process for your boss to ask for a stack ranking of your team a few times a year. That is all you know. In 2018 (I think) we were informed of the layoff the week of and we knew who it was going to be... that stopped bc of all the leaks to this site and to "friends" of the Sr Managers.

I heard from multiple AD's that during the last layoff they were given the names to layoff the morning of the layoff. Local management found out the same day we did. The other thing is volunteers were not considered. Good luck figuring anything out!

Anyone can leave anytime you want, don’t gotta make a big production about it.

For those who have clueless managers......ask your clueless director.

In the Corporate world though, even though your Manager may want to tell you.

Their superiors in their chain won't allow them to, in other words; Managers are told not to say certain things at work.

False, because the managers were laid off last time
