Will there be a reduction of workers at the chemical plants in Texas? If so, when?

They want to apply the Guyana SBM model corporate wide. Downstream sites and Permian are to be operated entirely by contractors.

PIP and reduced hiring for MPT. Wage (Unions) require negotiation and that takes time, but reductions will occur simply by retirement and not replacing with employee (replace with a contractor) or improve productivity. Basically, Wage are safe and wage headcount drops by retirement and resignation, but MPT headcount can be DRIVEN down quickly Via PIP, outsourcing, AI and any other means needed to drive out these high cost & low productivity employees
