Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

SpaceX in the wireless spectrum battle.

TMO already partners with SpaceX. Not sure how ATT will respond but I’m certain VZ will once again fail, as they did with the iPhone years ago. Leaders will tell us it’s nothing to worry about and use word salad and elaborate slide decks to propagandize their message. Some will clap and take photos in a red chair while writing on a post it note. The rest of us will patiently wait for our impending severance.

AST is far ahead of Space X/Starlink when it comes to D2D. Also AST is using the carriers spectrum so no need for them to purchase extra spectrum.

How much will SpaceX blow up while learning how wireless spectrum works?

Old news. Both Verizon and AT&T (as well as other international vendors) have already partnered (and announced partnerships) with a couple of different vendors. Including AST. They are testing and in regulatory approval stages with these companies...and TMO is afraid and making stink about wanting them to ensure no interference on cellular networks. Load of BS, as what is good for TMO apparently isn't good for other vendors.
