Is VBG ok?

I've seen posts over the last few days on a particular VP (won't name names here), and then other posts on TPD and Product....is VBG ok? My impression (arms length, to be fair) has been that VBG had more things to sell and more upside. Am I just overreacting to a few posts here?

@a6 if it wasn't for over-the-top services, we would lose 2/3 of VBG lol. These out-of-footprint solutions are what keeps our market share. Other carriers do the same in our territory. We just wholesale it to them. I'm not sure what DSL product can reach 350 Mbps but if you're talking Ethernet, then yeah I hear you. We get an open pipe (port) of 100 Mbps or 1000 Mbps and then provision it down to their subscribed speed.

AIConnect ? Really ? Amount of capital required unlock little power just not gonna work. LH fiber is BAI - rebranding it AI Connect to tell an AI story is desperation

Too many Directors and ADs have destroyed VBG. Directors with less than 4 direct reports! I mean, what are they even doing. That thing needs to be chopped down by a third

It's not. The hierarchy bloat is incredible. A-s Dirs with 1 direct report, Dirs with a handful of direct reports, and Sr Dirs above protecting them to save their own as--s...

There are too many people involved in VBG sales. If you look at an all in number per line, VBG is not profitable. The days of number of adds are long gone. Accretive revenue and reduced expense is all that matters.

NOPE: I am a VBG tech, we are glorified resellers w a so-called Beas box(glorified modem behind another modem by Comcast’s or another RBOC), and have had customers see we have choked a 350meg Comcast’s open DSL down to 3-5 meg at 3-5 times the cost, and the customer tells me to go to he-l an pull it back out, I am pulling them out faster than we can put them in, I have shut down office router after router off( old, outdated and antiquated) to use AWS - which is more reliable and efficient. VBG literally has ZERO to offer customers and when they do they have to call across the pond to people who can’t understand 2 words in American English. Tell me why any customer would stay just look at the financials for VBG for the last 6-10 yrs losing what 3-5% revenue per year, my input- bad upper management decisions from 2nd level to the top. Can’t change the titanic from sinking, when the captain won’t see the iceberg ahead. Let her sink I say.
