Anyone else dealing with a manager who treats information like it’s classified? Getting even the simplest thing feels like pulling teeth. At this point, I’m losing more time chasing answers than actually doing the work.

OP, stop trying to find out if the HR case against you is moving forward. Just assume it is. You can't continue to go to customer meetings dressed as a furry and demanding a litter box in their conference room.
No FLM has any important information..they are like a IT manager who nobody cares about and wants
Call when you're denied access to your project's section of EDCS, you're denied access to the source code you need to develop a fix and the hardware you need to work with is at another site and moved every day without anyone reporting the new console and power switching unit IP addresses and ports.
I still got the work done and received good reviews suggesting it was just complete incompetence, not malice on the part of a wide assortment of managers across many projects.
