Thread regarding Apache Corp. layoffs

How many more Tier 1 locations left in Permian?

Does Apache have only 4 years of Tier 1 locations with a 5-7 rig count?
Hearing that recent well production results are disappointing

I just saw the 2025 disclosure for APA citing how much they paid various organizations, including the US Chamber of Commerce. I feel nauseous. Are you telling me maintaining millions of dollars in expenditures to these groups is more important than retaining qualified staff? Disgusting.

I thought it was hilarious JC has sold 90% of the mineral acreage in Permian and now crows they are a leader in the Permian. By the way .....was that stuff we sold in Bordon county part of the new big discovery by another oil company? Would be funny if it was our old assets. Right under the New Ventures team noses.

JC is on a Fake it Till Ya Make It…needs to pump and dump those GoA and North Sea assets on some unsuspecting investors or foolish company…That’s like 4 Billion liabilities caked in…so talking about lateral length, frac stages is a mute point when someone has to abandon legacy assets…

Repsol dodged some serious issues…the company destroying type…thanks to smart engineers in Woodlands and Madrid that smelled a terrible trap 🪤

It is sad that the once great Permian region is now down to this.
