First FB and now AR… seems like all the competent leaders that are actually desirable to other companies are jumping ship left and right.
Are they scared the good ole boys will close ranks and bamboozle Meg to squeeze them out anyways? What will become of BP when the only leaders left are the unemployable that incompetently marched down this road like GB, AF, WL, EM, etc….
How do we have an upstream resurgence operating on scraps? Will we finally hire from outside?

Both oversaw serious fatalities related safety incidents and needed to be held accountable. We had a Senior Manager in Wells that scored a - 40% in the pulse survey of trusting senior leadership of bp, they moved her. Same with AR. FB was a s-b story that could barely be safe without trying to fall down. Basically both were finally held accountable, great job Meg!

AR was a good leader? Not in her part of the business but she was extremely unpleasant and arrogant in a GoAC townhall last year.
Wait FB is leaving? The SVP of safety?
FB & AR are proven failures. They should have been gone years ago. Meg should clean the stables thoroughly of the dung we call leaders.
If Meg does not not set realistic challenging goals with asset disposal and simplification bp trajectory will be second follower until some finance puba decides that consolidation of like companies makes sense and lots of fees are to be made. This trajectory will take 2-5 years starting now.
Felt like the bigger plan is to fold solutions into production and simplify. Obviously only one SVP will stay.
I feel like we are going to have to hire from outside at this point. I’m curious what Meg ends up doing.
