The pay increases lately don’t come even close to match how expensive everything else has become. Think about it, we're effectively getting pay cuts instead of pay raises when you calculate in the increase in cost of living.

1% 401k cuts for all, most getting 1-2% raises. It means you make less now than you did in 2024.
There is no limit to the increase in cost of living between RTO and the Trump war.
If you got RTOed it is even a bigger pay cut. Gas, clothes, overpriced food in the cafeteria. Not to mention that after getting up earlier and getting home late the idea of cooking is even less exciting, so you spend even more on simple dinners for family.
In all of the 5 month of RTO I have had 1 in person meeting that add no value and have never seen my boss or anyone that reports to me.
Glad I spend the money on going to the office.
