Was told that the next wave of layoff announcements will be hitting in the next 2-4 weeks. You will be told either you are being laid off in 45 days, being laid off in September, or possibly being offered a job.

Whole thing is a mess but needed. MEC were all weak but maybe the two ex Wells leaders and as expected the rest folded.
Joke that CBO and CHRO are now at Fifth Third given both culpable for the multi decade decline.
Telling that the first and second wave leaders who left are by and large unemployed and the very few we should have kept got bigger jobs as bigger banks within weeks.
