So why is it that some people feel this does not apply to them. Don't get me wrong. I was wfh the majority of the last 2 years, but I enjoy seeing my coworkers in person. There are entire offices and teams that dont come in even though this was a mandate from Global. Cameron and others, get your cr-p together. If you are going to enforce it than it should apply to everyone within a proximity of an office. While I enjoy being in the office, I am tired of being asked by others "why am I in the office, you are making us look bad" . Its not my fault your boss thinks shes special and these rules dont apply. I am just trying to do my job and keep it.

@zq That struck a nerve. Breathe and have another drink, my guy.
@y6 Yeah, you're missing the fact that you're a massive, servile tool.
Covid isn't a thing anymore.. lol. Am I missing something? If you're supposed to go in, go in. We are all adults.
@kn get fu---d
@kn What a d-mb thing to say.
@kn I see that you finally found this website, Cameron!
Everyone knows WFHers are lazy. Glad to see an official return to office
RTO is only applicable for “office based” workers who have been working from home and within 1 hour commute to the nearest office. If your work location is REMOTE(you can check in workday) you are not part of the RTO mandate. Some teams have been historically remote so it doesn’t make sense for them to go sit in an office only to spend their time on teams calls with their team members anyway. For me, no one is located in a central area so even if I went to an office there is no one for me to work with.
Now, who’s to say this won’t change in the future? Especially with no new remote hires, the company may be looking to get away from remote work in general eventually.
@aq no need to advise here. Read the dang email like the rest of us.
The closest office is over 2 hours away, please advise.
@OP the date for return is May 1 which is still sometime away. Why are you already going if the mandate doesn’t start until then? Also per the email if you are in Workday as fully remote, you still do not have to come in starting May 1. So I suggest you relax and quit getting overworked. And when in doubt talk to your leader or your leaders leader or better yet HR. I’m going to venture to say starting May 1 it will be monitored.
The mandatory RTO doesn’t start until May.Did you read the email or are you just quick to complain?
again. this has been mandated multiple time over the last 4 years....another try for Return to Office since Covid...
If you read the email you would see it’s not mandated until May 1st
