Weekly calls are always the same, managers focused on whatever bullsh-t "metric" has been identified as needing improvement. When "Improvement" is made, it isn't based on any actual changes in the way buisness is done, only how the field is instructed to report thier time. Middle management lives and cultivates this fantasy world, and feeds this "data" to upper management who makes decisions based on phony metrics. What a clown show.

Can you put together a slide deck on this? The most important part of this deck will be following the approved template and making sure there is consistency in fonts and colors. SET THE FOUNDATION!!!
The management has ADHD to the 10000%…. Whatever the new shiny thing, let’s focus on that ONE thing, till another new shiny thing takes its place, as I always ask my supervisor what the rule of the hour is, because they want to constantly skew the metrics to make someone happy in management. If anyone from management reads this know the industry standard for ratio is 1:18-28 employees, no matter what you so called level you are, and stop producing unnecessary busy work with metrics and worry about the work being done correctly.
