They're just je-king us around, aren't they? Maybe they'll tie it to a gas price threshold - check the pump each morning, find out if you're driving in. Next-gen attrition tactics!

@pa lol cool story, bro. How sad a high performer like you spends your free time trolling here.
It looks like they are bringing back telecommuters in MN and DC if you look at some of the new job listings
@mq
Laugh away. All the complainers like you make it so much easier to get a 5 and all my RRP. Enjoy your complaining and low or no raises or RRP.
@je now we laugh at you instead! If you need to be supervised in an office just to be on Teams call, go back to kindergarten
Life must be good. If I told myself 10 years ago that going to the office was my biggest issue with job I would have laughed at myself.
There are many phantom teams - they don’t even exist but optum/ united paying for them. One guy got arrested by fbi. So forcing local people to come to office will only make this company more phantom. https://www.justice.gov/usao-mn/pr/california-man-found-guilty-defrauding-his-former-employer-optum-inc
Heard nothing about a WFH return unfortunately. It has done them a ton of savings though as many at the MN HQ have quit since it was reimposed. No severance needed. Their functions sent to India.
@aa When we were in the office we could see people like you clocking in at 8, talking loudly all day until noon, then leaving. You know that, right?
If you need to physically see your employees to know they're doing their job, you have no right being their manager because you don't understand their job.
@aa AA how fitting for being an alcoholic CEO
@aa SD? Lil Wayne? Which tender executive are you? Poking at your expensive phone with soft, pink hands.
No, work is done in the office. Managers learned from Covid people just don't work at home.
