@OP You're lucky! Most Americans can only read at 3rd grade level, and do math at 1st grade level. But AI is now there to help. Pretty soon, you won't need to hear your manager read. And better yet, most corporations won't even need you to complain about your managers reading abilities. Both of your jobs will be taken over by AI. Then who are you going to complain to? Just be glad your 5th grade level manager has been able to keep your position around and you're getting a check to feed yourself and family and put a roof over your head.
