There were layoffs right after Jon left Sharp for Inova. At Inova he has been leading a lot of digital and AI transformations rapidly which makes some of us think we may see layoffs soon. Wanted to get a sense of how his stint at Sharp was and if he is a high velocity transformation chief who might leave behind a trail of bodies and layoffs or if he is someone who is great for the long haul?

He was a good VP and brought in good modern practices and technology and is willing to meet and talk with teams. But he has a core group of white Texas guys from his time in Dallas that he brings in for all the changes and it’s a tight knit crew that follows him. When he leaves a place and takes his crew with him that’s a sign that things will go south.
@1ef And to add, I thought he left for a health system in Dallas, Texas? Inova is new to me.
He was mainly brought in due to his experience with Epic conversions. He would also meet with each team to answer any questions. He was approachable and gave thorough answers, however, no one at the time had the thought of layoffs cross their minds. Only after he left were layoffs executed. Not sure if he knew they were coming and that's why he left, but layoffs happened after he departed. He had insights into the financial side of Sharp so I'm sure he knew something. Even he admitted Epic was super expensive. Alas, layoffs were done be other leadership that was brought in. It was horrible as tenured folks with many years of experience were let go.
To summarize, if he leaves Inova, I'd be very suspicious.
Following this. I’m curious to see what people thought.
