@p5 all lies. A different ceo came in and stopped the fiber build out 2 years later. The company smelt blood after 2008 and went for everything….and they got it.
It was a different time we were losing customers and we had no work. Vz had not hired in years and they had stopped the fiber build at that point. The stock market was in shambles and people were losing there jobs and houses to foreclosure. I voted no but I understand the why many voted yes. Right now we may be heading towards a downturn. Massive layoffs Consumers defaulting on car loans run away prices on everything..This is not the time to fight. The current political climate is very unfavorable to labor i.
Without you, we wouldn’t be here? You paved the way for us? You old fu--s are nothing but washed up at this point, you sold the new hires out and you can sit here and try to justify it anyway you’d like but the fact is, you did nothing but pave the road for the younger generation to not support you.
Your so-called brothers sold u out. Ibew electricians laugh at you
We’re not bi--hing about what we don’t have. We’re about helping people who never helped us.
Granted things changed, but people took the job at that time knowing what they were getting. So stop bi--hing about something you never had.
2008, the year when old folks were young
Nah without us older folk you wouldn’t be here. I lead the way for yall and my life is here. Don’t hate because of my pension hate because you weak and need me. Class of 99
@a7 we dont how anyone anything. Vote yes!
Voting seems to be about 85/15 in favor so far.
All you know people owe us. Without us you don’t have a job. So stop fooling yourself and recognize that you don’t deserve anything. You best be voting no!!
