This is a complete rumor. even execs told there is no idea how 10k came about. spot spreading teh rumor. The business is bouncing back. Cloud, baby!
Not enough. Too much cruft has accumulated over the last 25 years, and many of the high performers left to make their own fortunes, and there's no one ensuring continuity once product champions leave, leaving us with 19 different versions of the same product, of which 17 have shut down. There's a lot of fat to trim.
