Thread regarding Quest Software Inc. layoffs

The art of ki-ling your cash cow

In a stunning display of visionary leadership, Clearlake has decided to let two complete rookies role‑play as CEO and CTO of One Identity.
Their first genius move? Try to fire the entire Identity Manager team and replace decades of hard‑won expertise with an army of low‑cost code monkeys offshore.
Nothing says “strategic innovation” quite like dismantling one of the company’s last profitable products. But hey—let’s just hope the next buyer doesn’t notice the smell of burning cash just yet.

Not like like CC to make bad decisions and hire incompetants to head their investments. Take Chelsea Football for instance that's a very well run investment with low managerial turnover...

...no it is also fubar and they could care less there too.

Is there anything going on this is April right? Remember guys and gals be very careful what you sign with companies(especially this one) when leaving them and make sure you're lawyered up and take the absolute max, do not do what I did, I keep my eye on these threads anyway hopefully they can finally get the bad people out of the company but I think it's far too late for that

Is there any update on the woman who posted here previously claiming her Husband dying was the companies fault? I think I worked there at the time, however I didn't know this person but I did sign something in good faith(big mistake) with the company, so I'm not sure exactly what we can or can't say here.

They don’t care as long as their positions are secure.

Cut 100–150 staff? - No problem, looks great on paper! While everyone else is left dealing with stripped-down products - best of luck walking away with that!

This move was in the works well before the new CEO/CTO joined the company. Still not a good move, but it isn't their decision.

This is supposed to increase customer success and improve support to customers. How? As the poster said, you've just got rid of decades of knowledge and experience. This does not end well for anybody.
