Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Jensen, Jensen, look over here its me Michael

The grifting was taken to another level yesterday at Nvidia's GTC event and then immediately plastered all over socials! Jensen must be laughing at all these clowns bend the knee so they can be first in the queue to get their hands on a GPU!

AI Spend in general is a big grift in regards to Nvidia.

Nvidia invest in company, that company turns around an uses the investment to buy Nvidia GPUs.

Nvidia reports the revenue.

That is circular investing (Jensen denies it) and should warrant an SEC investigation.

Without Nvidia, Dell has NO AI! Dell quite literally relies on Nvidia for AI so that Dell can claim to "have" AI...

Dell's AI chat - whatever tf it's called - is a laughable comical joke. They are so pro AI but the funny part is that Dell has NO IDEA what they are doing in regards to AI - or anything, really...

Your comment reminds me of a coworker I had: “We are the mercy of our suppliers.” He was referring to how suppliers take advantage of weak OEMs (like Dell or HP) who have little to no influence with the design of their products.

Suppliers know that it’s cheaper to have someone else make their products for them. Nvidia can EASILY make their own hardware if they really wanted to. But if they did, then their OEMs would start looking into making their own silicon. Apple did this and they’re arguably doing better than when they had Intel products in their computers. Dell doesn’t want that risk so they’re… at the mercy of their suppliers.

MD knows he has nothing if he can't cling to NVDA's skirt. DELL has no AI story or solution of our own.
