Our country manager who has only been at Qlik for less than a year is ki-ling morale. It's got to the point where people have got sick and tired of being talked over and not listened to that they are actively looking for an exit ramp. leadership above are ignoring the issue and it festers away and is causing serious culture issues within our office.

Seems to be some really bad reviews on glassdoor as well. What is going on down there?
Apparently she is the country manager of the year 🤣. Seems only one employee in the company actually thinks highly of her which says more about his decision making capabilities or lack thereof than anything else.
@2q8 I think you're right. It's a real shame the culture down there is that way as it definitely should be better. One person ruining an entire business should never be considered acceptable. It will take years to recover from that type of culture.
What I hear is that a lot of the Aussies are looking elsewhere, interviewing and looking to leave as quickly as possible. Talking to some of them at SKO and it's got really bad. I think they know that they will be replaced with a yes person, but it's becoming increasingly known amongst the tech community down there that it's not a place to join for the really bad culture
@2pn They run a tight ship. I don't think they are oblivious. They just prefer the Elon Musk style of leadership.. treat your employees harshly to push them harder. Yes, this pushes out some great employees who won't tolerate that behavior. But they are OK with that trade-off, since that opens up opportunities for new 'yes men' to take their place.
@2pc agreed. It does seem to be behaviour that is condoned and tolerated from higher up. They seem oblivious to the impact that it is having on the organisation.
Unfortunately, the leadership at the very top is ruthless. And they give feedback to their directs to be more ruthless, they see kindness as weakness. And so it trickles down.
