I’ve been in a group where they used flash calls for the most ridiculous things. Twice in one day once to try tell us an employee left, then to try to reduce rumors. It always caused anxiety in people and was unnecessary.

Flash calls can be about anything. I’ve been in groups that held flash calls to tell me about certain market events or a c-level leader retiring.

@ay if OP is impacted, they would have bigger fish to fry than commenting on a lame layoff site.
