The all aluminum, 90% recyclable Apple Mac Neo is going to give the Dell low and midrange PCs and Chromebooks a run for their money this year when it comes to the much sought after education market.

People need to know it's the Iphone 16 CPU tied to a much bigger battery and screen.
It will definitely sell a lot, and a great entry way to get people into the Apple Ecosystem, where Apple most likely hope they will move up later to the like or Air and M CPU's
I switched from windows to macos and won't go back.
@ae In price, yes, there’s plenty of Dell products above low-range. In quality… not so much,
@c5 I’m not sure if you are on the latest OS version. I have three monitors going with my MacBook Air.
@ad Never really used it, have you? For my entire time with EMC and then Dell, the only Windows computer in my house was my company laptop.
I always preferred the solid and more secure Unix based OSX of the Mac. Even the pre OSX was better than its Windoze counterpart.
I remember when my graphic designer wife took a contract gig in 2005. The company said the only had Windows. She asked if she could bring in her Mac. (I took the morning off to help her move it and helping that company's IT person get it on the network.)
Coming from Windows, I'll admit there are a few things about macOS that took some time getting used to — and honestly, there's still plenty I'm not a fan of. It does make a difference for day-to-day productivity once it clicks, but at the end of the day I'm a Linux guy at heart.
MacOS is bad but once you daily use it you fall in love. Windows has lost its way.
@bk Disagree. Apple’s Mac OS is cr-p. The sensitive gestures, the difficulty working with program windows, the inability to work with multiple monitors, the file structures….. it’s hot garbage. Give me MS Windows any day of the week. iOS is a different story.
@ad Still much better than the MS Windows 11 cr-p
With the lower price point, and the higher quality hardware for sure, it's going to take a big chunk of market share away from Dell. No question.
Does Dell even produce anything above low range?
I would agree with you if Apple’s mac os wasn’t complete garbage.
